The website’s mission is to become an ultimate destination for enthusiasts. Canadian Kids Pod wanted to become a cultural hub where ideas, insights, and conversations thrive. Canadian Kids Pod was not an easy project. They wanted a fully dynamic website with extensive custom post types and dynamic tags. The complex project was challenging because of infinite scroll features, custom loops, and post templates. The main inspiration was the Barstool sports website. They wanted a similar design functionality and layout features.

The first challenge was to bring Barstool Sports’ essence into the Canadian Kid Pod with all the layout, features, and functionalities. This required meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of the website’s design and functionality aligned with the client’s expectations.
It was one of the main features requested by the Canadian Kid Pod. It enhanced user experience by allowing seamless browsing and access to content, but implementing the functionality was not easy. It required a sophisticated approach for smooth operation.
To accommodate Canadian Kids Pod’s diverse content, the website needed a devised solution for creating custom posts. The goal was to enable users to explore and engage with specific categories more efficiently.

The old Canadian Kids Pod website was very basic. Constructed using Divi Builder, it lacked many essential features. Considering the complex features and project requirements, we opted for the Astra theme and paired it with the Elementor page builder. Astra is among the best themes. It was fast, compatible with all plugins, and offered great features. Elementor’s ability to easily design custom pages, impressive dynamic features, and advanced custom fields made it our first choice.
Our team successfully mirrored the reference site, ensuring it worked correctly and delivered the best user experience.
We implemented custom posts and fields with ACF and Custom Post Type UI plugins. We designed custom posts dedicated to different categories and introduced a fresh taxonomy for categorizing names.
Then, we used Elementor to design templates that efficiently extracted data and content from these custom post types and ACF fields. The intelligent solution helped us make content addition, modification, and removal easier for Canadian Kid Pod.
Elementor helped us fulfill Canadian Kids Pod’s requirement. The dynamic tag feature, in conjunction with advanced custom fields, allowed us to dynamically manage content across the entire website, including post types, show information, host details, author pages, and more. The small feature and plugin proved instrumental in successfully achieving the objectives.
Canadian Kids Pod wanted infinite scrolling to provide an everlasting stream of content. Although it may seem simple, there were no direct plugins, which created significant challenges for our WordPress design and development team.
Elementor proved quite helpful in this situation as well. To tackle the issue, we leveraged Elementor’s custom loop functionality to construct post grids that matched the reference site. This strategic approach made it easier for us to implement infinite scrolling for various content types, including blogs, videos, shows, and podcasts.
